Celebrate 20 Years of Greenways on May 13, 2017!

*NEW in 2017* Greenway Adventure Triathlon IMPORTANT INFORMATION
In consideration of Roanoke River forecast and after much deliberation, we have decided to cancel the paddle portion of the Adventure Triathlon. Safety is of utmost importance to us and, with a river crest projected for 2 p.m. tomorrow, we cannot allow the paddle leg to occur. The low water bridge floods at approximately 3 feet and the projection is 4.3 feet. Information regarding river levels can be found at: https://water.weather.gov/ahps2/hydrograph.php?wfo=rnk&gage=ronv2. The good news is that the running and cycling stages will continue with modifications. We will send out additional information and details regarding the new Adventure Duathlon later today. Given that the event will proceed, we will not be providing refunds due to elimination of the paddling leg. However, if you rented a kayak from Roanoke Mountain Adventures for the race, you will be refunded the full amount for the rental. View the updated course map.
