Packet Pick-up. Shirt and race number / bib pick-up at Fleet Feet Sports just off of Franklin Road: 622 Townside Rd. SW Roanoke, VA 24014
Saturday May 12th
Noon - 2:30pm:
Packet Pick-up. Shirt and race number / bib pick-up at Fleet Feet Sports.
Note: Internet registration closes on Thursday May 10th at midnight, but you can "paper" register during the Fleet Feet packet pick-up times.
3:30 - 4:30pm:
On-site registration. We highly recommend registering online or at Fleet Feet. We only have a 1 hour window at the race and may not be able to get all runners registered before the 4:30 cut-off time.
4:45 - 5:00pm:
Kid's Fun Run. Registration is required. Liz Belcher of the Roanoke Valley Greenways will start the kid's fun run which is an out-and-back half mile jaunt down Wiley Drive and back up the Greenway.
5:00pm
5K Race and 1 Mile Walk. Liz Belcher will start the race. Runners will lead the pack and walkers will start immediately after the runners.
5:30pm:
Live Music and Food: The region's coolest 80's cover band, Superhold, will start rocking River's Edge. Buffalo Wild Wings will officially be open at 5:30, and participants can start to redeem their food vouchers. Our adult beverage vendor will also be open for business, so have your i.d. in hand when arriving.
6:00 - 6:20pm:
Awards Ceremony: Liz Belcher will step on stage with Pat Patterson from Novozymes, and they will combine to announce sponsor awards and race winners.
6:20pm to 9:00pm:
Live Music: Superhold will continue to rock the stage until 9pm.
9pm to 10pm:
Wind down: We'll be closing down the party, but participants are more than welcome to stay and mingle and finish your food and beverage.
Throughout the event: Kemper Mills Fant Photography will be on-site donating their services and taking pictures of all aspects of the event. If you see a camera, SMILE! We'll post all of the pictures within two weeks of the event on our Gallop 4 the Greenways Facebook page.
